MARVEL MARATHON WATCH GUIDE
MARVEL MOVIES
IN RELEASE ORDER.
Follow the live-action films that feed into the MCU and its connected multiverse, from Blade and X-Men to today’s Marvel Studios slate.
MOVIE SCOPE
WHICH MARVEL MOVIES ARE INCLUDED?
This list covers every film in the Marvel Marathon catalogue. That means the central MCU, Fox’s X-Men branch, Sony’s Spider-Man and Venom branches, and older films whose characters later crossed into the MCU multiverse.
Release order is the simplest way to see how Marvel cinema developed. It also preserves later multiverse reveals, especially where Spider-Man: No Way Home and Deadpool & Wolverine revisit earlier screen continuities.
This is a deliberately defined live-action list rather than every film ever adapted from a Marvel comic. Animated films, documentaries and unrelated adaptations remain outside the tracker. Series and specials have their own Marvel television guide and the complete tracker.

MOVIE QUESTIONS
MARVEL MOVIE ORDER QUESTIONS
Does this include films outside the MCU?
Yes. It includes selected legacy, X-Men and Sony-controlled branches that now have an on-screen connection to the MCU multiverse. Each entry identifies its branch.
Why does the list begin with Blade rather than Iron Man?
Iron Man begins the MCU, but Blade is the earliest film inside this tracker’s connected live-action scope. Use the MCU release-order guide if you only want Marvel Studios continuity.
Are television series mixed into this order?
No. This page is film-only. The main tracker combines films, live-action series and specials, while the television guide isolates episodic releases.
Are animated Spider-Verse films included?
No. The current Marvel Marathon scope is live action. Sony’s animated Spider-Verse films are separate from this checklist even though they also explore a multiverse.
How are future films added?
A film enters the catalogue after an official source gives it a specific release date. Dates are updated when a studio announces a change.
EDITORIAL NOTES
SOURCES AND UPDATES
Movie titles and future dates are checked against Disney’s Marvel brand hub, current Disney slate announcements and Sony’s official listings. The list uses the earliest public release date recorded by the catalogue.
