MARVEL MARATHON

SITE INFORMATION

ABOUT THE
ARCHIVE.

Marvel Marathon is an independent, fan-made watch tracker built to make live-action Marvel viewing orders easier to understand and maintain.

THE PURPOSE

WHAT MARVEL MARATHON DOES

The site combines a device-local checklist with focused watch-order guides. It is intended for viewers deciding what belongs in a particular Marvel screen continuity, where to begin and what they can safely leave out.

Marvel Marathon is independent. It is not produced, approved or sponsored by Marvel, Disney, Sony or any other rights holder.

CATALOGUE RULES

HOW THE SCOPE IS DEFINED

The main catalogue covers live-action MCU films, series, specials and One-Shots, earlier Marvel Television seasons, Fox’s X-Men branch, Sony’s connected Spider-Man branches, and selected legacy films whose characters later crossed into the MCU multiverse.

Animated stories, documentaries, recap series and adaptations without an on-screen MCU or multiverse connection are excluded. An incoming title is added only after an official source announces a specific release date.

Individual guides use narrower rules. Their introductions explain which formats and continuities are included, and every catalogue entry keeps a permanent internal ID so site updates do not break existing watch histories.

EDITORIAL METHOD

HOW INFORMATION IS CHECKED

Release names and dates are checked against first-party information from Marvel, Disney, Sony, official distributors and official streaming services. Established entertainment trade reporting may be used when a first-party source is unavailable. Each guide lists its principal sources.

When reliable sources conflict, the newest first-party announcement takes priority. If a conflict cannot be resolved confidently, the existing entry is retained rather than replaced with a guess.

Release-order guides use the earliest public release date recorded in the catalogue. Chronological placement uses a title’s principal story period and is labelled approximate where time travel, branching timelines or season-long stories prevent one exact position.

MAINTENANCE

UPDATES AND CORRECTIONS

A visible updated month means that page and its affected catalogue information were genuinely reviewed. Dates are not changed simply to make a page appear fresh.

For a correction or site-related enquiry, use the contact details available on the publisher’s website. A separate contact page is not maintained because Marvel Marathon does not collect messages or contact details itself.

RIGHTS NOTICE

NAMES AND TRADEMARKS

Marvel names, characters, film and programme titles, logos and related trademarks belong to their respective owners. Their use here identifies the works being tracked and does not imply endorsement.

The site’s original writing, interface and code are maintained separately from the underlying entertainment properties.
