GOOGLE ANALYTICS

Marvel Marathon uses Google Analytics 4 to understand visits, popular pages, broad referral sources and how people use the site. Google Analytics may receive information such as the pages requested, approximate location derived from an IP address, browser and device details, and interaction events.

Analytics storage is denied by default for visitors in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland until they actively allow it. In other regions, analytics is enabled by default and can be declined at any time. Google’s advertising storage, ad user data, ad personalisation and Google Signals are disabled for this site.

When analytics storage is denied in a prior-consent region, Google’s advanced consent mode may send measurements without analytics cookies. Google uses these limited signals for aggregated measurement and modelling. Choosing decline disables further Google Analytics measurements from this site and removes its accessible analytics cookies.

Your analytics choice is saved in local storage so the site can apply it on later visits. Session storage remembers when the privacy prompt has already appeared during the current browsing session, so it does not follow you from page to page. Use privacy settings at any time to review or change your choice. You can also block or remove cookies and site data with your browser controls.

LOCAL DATA

WHAT STAYS ON YOUR DEVICE

Watched titles are saved in your browser’s local storage under a Marvel Marathon storage key. The stored value is a list of permanent catalogue IDs. It does not contain your name, email address or an advertising identifier.

After you first mark a title, the site may ask the browser to preserve this storage so it is less likely to be removed automatically. The installable app also uses browser cache storage to make core pages and assets available offline.

Exporting progress creates a JSON backup on your device. Importing a backup reads the selected file inside your browser and merges recognised watch IDs into local progress. The file is not uploaded to a Marvel Marathon server.

You can remove watch data with the reset controls or by clearing this site’s stored data in your browser. Removing site data may also remove offline files and preferences.

TECHNICAL REQUEST DATA

As with ordinary websites, the infrastructure used to deliver and protect Marvel Marathon receives technical request information. This may include an IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, referral information and request times.

This technical information is handled according to the site’s infrastructure settings and the applicable service providers’ privacy practices.
