A SPIN-OFF WITH A CHANGING TITLE
HOW AGATHA ALL ALONG WAS MADE
Jac Schaeffer, head writer of WandaVision, signed an overall television deal with Marvel Studios in May 2021. The series was in early development by October 2021 and was officially announced at the Disney+ Day event in November 2021 as Agatha: House of Harkness. The title became Agatha: Coven of Chaos in July 2022, and Agatha All Along was confirmed in May 2024.
Principal photography began on 17 January 2023 at Trilith Studios in Atlanta under the working title My Pretty, with Westview exteriors shot on the Warner Bros. Ranch. Christophe Beck composed the score, and Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez wrote the songs, including “The Ballad of the Witches’ Road.” The budget was under $40 million.
